Owls Game

We went to the Owls Game in Orem last week. That was a lot of fun!!

Summer Fun

I kinda have been slacking in the blog area. Since the move I really cant find anything and have been too lazy to find anything as well! haha. Anyways, here is a little of what we have been doing this summer.

We went to the Lave Hot Springs in Idaho the end of July for the weekend. It was a lot of fun. It was also MaKenna's first time in a swimming pool. She loved it but the movement actually put her to sleep!! We had fun with the whole Neal Family!

First picture is of MaKenna's MULLET!! Yes she has a mullet. Everyone keeps asking me if I am going to cut it and I say NO!

I left Dave to watch MaKenna while I went grocery shopping and when I got home this is what I saw...

Let me know what you think!!!!

Economy Stresses...

I know all of us in some way are feeling the stesses of the economy right now. We see it on the news all the time! I myself have been feeling it harder lately and it seems like it will never end. I have been down in the dumps and realized why... yeah we may not be able to do those things we want to right now but it is for a small moment. I was reading this great blog called Science For Raising Happy Kids. It is awesome! Here is the link:
I have to agree with the bolded paragraph below.... I have been sitting around hoping things will get better and not trying to find someone who needs the help right now. If I can just reach out to someone else and help them in their time of need, maybe just maybe I will forget my own stresses! I am gonna try it out! Any takers?!

If you are really feeling stressed economically, a huge body of research shows that reaching out to others can make us healthier and happier. One study showed that people with financial problems who provided social support to fellow church-goers were buffered from the stress of the economic strain, while people who received the support were not. And helping others will often undo the physiological damage that stress does to our bodies. So although we might feel like we need to hunker down and take care of ourselves most when we are feeling economic strain, helping others is sometimes the best way to help ourselves.

So question for all you ladies out there! Why is it so hard to join a group of bunco players? Seriously! I know people who have to take turns playing those nights because there are so many out there who want to play. What is the big hype? And why havent I been asked to join a group? I am venting... Just venting. Anyways, have fun ladies playing while I sit at home watching reruns...
P.s. I am not angry...just want to play. Thats all! :)
